The war within

Bang!

In this land all I hear
Bang!
Bang!

In my home
Warmth
Love 
Happiness
Peace

In this land
Children die
Old men pray for a time long forgotten
Young women know only loss
Women cry for their children

In this land
I AM THE ENEMY
In a war against no-one
A war against someone
A war for someone
A war for nothing

Bang!
Bang!

She lived for only 3 months
When the gun went off
She lived no-more
I am left with the regret of holding that gun 
and bringing the
Bang!
Bang!
